Marakissa Diaspora Association was formed by Marakissa Natives living outside the Gambia.
What is our Vision?
MDA vision is to promote a community where all people enjoy opportunities for their progress with justice, equality, peace and prosperity. Also to create a prosperous, just and forward looking society.
What is our Mission?
Our Mission is to develop the self-governing association for improving the lives of the rural poor, particularly women, small farmers, oppressed communities in the UK, and bring about their socio-economic empowerment.
What are our Aims?
Our Aims are to empower the people so that they can attain self-reliance and confidence for long-term sustainable development. MDA initiates the activities to empower peoples’ organizations as core activity, which is integrated and community based the local people in the UK and abroad.
